Topweazle

One of the many "neighborhood" shops for the locals. This one better than the rest with great grass and inexpensive drinks. The friendly counter staff remembers almost everyone and their desires, making suggestions as well. Not far from the intersection of Woustraat and the Victorieplein. Nice cool place to hang, park your bike right in front to keep an eye on it and the groceries...

Hi everybody I live in Amsterdam and I know Topweazle now for 8 years and everytime I need to relax I go there. Very nice people and the lady's are very nice. The weed is good and they have chesterfields to sit on. What would you like more when you're high. Ofcourse to sit down. Allright. See you there ...ciao

the atmosphere is very relaxed and the chicks behind the bar are the nicest girls you can find in town. The place is difficult to find but worth searching.

I have a customer for almost eight years now. Topweazle has very consistant in their supply, quality-wise. And because it is somewhat of the beaten track it's nice and neighbourly. I would recommend this coffeeshop (and their coffee) for visitors of Amsterdam who are willing to go out of their way.

Topweazle is a little local coffeeshop with friendly people and excellent quality 'wiet' (and very constant overtime). I am a regular costumer who lives around the corner. The best high to my mind comes from 'merry cristal' or as I call it a real 'welterusten zuster' (nurse goodnight). Before I discovered Topweazle I visited a lot of other coffeeshops. But my conclusion is: Topweazle is the best buy.

Ok, the numbers are pretty much bogus because I don't have much to compare Topweazle with but here's my story: I was driving through Europe and passing within an hour or two of Amsterdam and I thought it would be cool to stop in and taste some of the local offerings. This was a totally spur of the moment idea so I really had no idea where I was going to go or how I was going to find a coffeeshop in the scant time I had available. Basically I was pretty much lost as soon as I was in the city streets of Amsterdam. I decided to go around the block to try and back track a few turns. Just as I'm coming around the block, here's this place with a Coffeeshop sign out. Bingo! I went in and the counter person and another patron at the bar were quite patient with me and suggested the houseblend. After a very pleasant taste, I purchased a few grams more of the houseblend and split. Miraculously, I managed to retrace my convoluted trail into Amsterdam and was back on the motorway buzzing along to my final destination which was still many hours further. Basically everything just clicked for me that night. The weed was tasty and plenty potent, the aptmosphere was laidback, the price seemed reasonable, the patrons and the staff were helpful and didn't make me feel like an idiot even though I was distinctly clueless since it has been almost 30 years since the last time I got high in Amsterdam. The place was small and seemed to cater to locals. Tourists seemed to be the last thing they expected to see in their shop but it worked great for me! Now that I have a map and an address I can see that this place should be easy to get to. I'll go back there again if circumstances permit it.

A nice coffeeshop, not in the center but quite easy to go to by bike or tram. It's not that big, but it is quite noisy (I went there in the evening), but the menu is good. Pre-rolled joins are definitely worth your money, but the unrolled offerings are good, too.
