My Score:
Unacceptable food from starter (Lamproie) to dessert (Fruits de la passion). Good wine.

The best meal I've ever had in Paris, or anywhere. It was much better than Ducasse. Michelin should give it a 3rd star. David Nugent San Francisco

My Score:
Approachable staff & sommelier, fantastic food, incredible dining experience. Took my wife for anniversary & spent $335 (including $45 wine) for their tasting menu. Fabulously Jerusalem Artichokes, saute'ed scallops. I speak no French, but waiters were professional.

My Score:
I have been to many restaurants in Paris and in terms of excellent places to discover true cuisine art, this is one of the best on the list. The decor isn't fabulous, as top restaurants in Paris tend to be. Almost as if they wish you to concentrate on the food moreso than on anything else. I disagree with the quality of the food and wine from previous entries: this is where I discovered the most amazing array of wines, cognacs and other spirits. The "cave" is beautiful but rarely accessible to the general public - although you may purchase some upon request. The service is professional, the quality of the food & drink a true treat and unfortunately the bill.... deserving of an expensive restaurant.

Natasha and I reserved for our Christmas eve dinn er a month in advance at this Michlon two star. After a fabulous champagne cocktail accross the street in the heady atmosphere of the Ritz bar, we were greeted and shown through the gorgous upstairs dining room to the "caves" a floor below Apart from thier famous truffle and corn soup it was all down hill, starting with a glass of champagne we were handed when we were seated and progressing through the wine pairings that were part of the all inclusive menue I began to feel they were getting rid of every shabby bottle in thier cellar. The second course of lobster was nearly raw and may have been the cause of Natasha's later stomach upset, Throughout, the waiters tried but seemed harried and short handed. The main course of lamb, which I'm told is a specialty of the house, was served luke warm making it the perfect match for the lobster On the up side there seemed to be at least four desert courses that would of been great if they hadn't been accompanied by an absolutely awful white armanac. And this from a restaurant featuring at least fifty differant armanacs. Maybe it was because it was a huge Christmas eve set price affair----or not, But we had many better meals in Paris that week for much less.
