Cafe de la Poste

Less pricey than other suppposedly haute cusine offerings, this small eatery offers tiny tables and bizarre artwork on the walls. Famous for fruit tart desserts, they also offer the standard French cuisine we always look for... Seasonal offerings include salmon, duck and steaks, done with that certain special touch of the true French chef. Somewhat off the beaten path, it is located a few blocks away from the pricey tourist traps around the Bastille monument. Average price for a meal is just 15 to 20 euros.
