Right on the sea, this place is all about fish... and very fresh fish, with grilled meats for the traditionalists. If the place is too full, hop across the road to their second location, with the same name.
More Info: Metro: Barceloneta, near the Port Vell.

The waiter basically initially was very hassley and didn't give us the chance to choose what we wanted and kept on disturbing us. When I say us I mean my girlfriend who speaks spanish very well. From the look on her face I knew something was awry. The waitor was only buttering her up and trying to get her to come out on a date. I confronted him he acted soft and the we left!! Dont go to this place!!

a place for tourists, but far too expensive and arrogant.

Posted by Food Critic on 2004-03-05 01:17:57 My Score: Great place. While the locals may say it's for tourists, the food is fantastic. Far and away the best rice dish I've had in Barcelona. Order the Mariscada a la Parilla -- grilled seafood. The service is a bit dodgy in that the waiters will try to rip you off, so make sure you order off the menu and ask prices before ordering.
