Supper Club: Lounge

The more I hear about this place the less desire I have to go there. Everyone says it’s THE place for rich and snobby people who will glare at you with open hostility if you aren’t wearing the latest designer fashions. Stories circulate about items being pilfered from their coatcheck and unsympathetic management whose only concern seems to be gouging large amounts of guilders from your pocket.

Guests lounge in beds & order food & drinks at this eatery, bar & performance space.

If you are looking for attitude, here it is!

  1. A long, drawn out, boring evening with terribly rude and abrupt service. Miniscule portions of food spaced out over a period of 5 hours with not enough entertainment provided to keep you awake till the end of your meal. Poorly organized! If the idea of eating out of an ashtray for desert or having some ignorant waiter THROW napkins and a rubber glove at you then this place would be perfect for you. Unfortunately I felt I was cheated of what was supposed to be a very good evening. Very disappointing!!! Don’t waste your time or your well-earned money on a place that shows no respect for their guests.

  2. I suggest whoever wrote the above should go to the Supperclub and see what it’s like for themselves…although they probably have enough to eat what with that massive chip on their shoulder. I have been to both the Amsterdam and Bangkok Supperclubs and would recommend them to anyone. We couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome, the food was absolutely delicious, service was just right and the entertainment topped it off. Everyone who went on my recommendation (ranging from friends in the media to builders and my best friend’s mum) has loved it. Try it for yourself.
